How HOC Unlimited Advertising collects, uses, protects, and communicates customer information for NFC digital business card services.
This policy applies to HOC Unlimited Advertising services offered through nfc.hocua.com, the HOC NFC Writer app, and related customer support channels.
We may collect the information necessary to create, activate, update, renew, and support your NFC digital business card.
Customers may choose to receive service-related SMS notifications from HOC Unlimited Advertising. SMS notifications may include card readiness alerts, order or status updates, renewal reminders, profile update confirmations, support notifications, phone replacement or card reactivation support, and important card status notices.
HOC Unlimited Advertising does not sell personal information. We do not share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Limited customer information may be shared only when necessary to operate our services, process payments, deliver service-related messages, provide customer support, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.
Examples of service providers may include payment processors, hosting providers, email providers, SMS service providers, security tools, or technical platforms required to operate the NFC digital card service.
We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect customer information. However, no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Customers may request updates, corrections, or removal of profile information by contacting HOC Unlimited Advertising. Customers may also opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.
We retain customer information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide NFC digital business card services, process renewals, support customer requests, maintain records, improve security, or comply with legal obligations.
Our services may rely on third-party platforms such as payment processors, SMS providers, email providers, hosting providers, Apple Wallet compatible technologies, NFC tools, analytics tools, or security services. These providers may process limited information only as needed to support the service.
Our NFC digital business card services are intended for business customers and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
HOC Unlimited Advertising may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

HOC NFC Writer is an iPhone app for authorized HOC resellers to program, rewrite, identify, and manage compatible NFC cards. This section describes the app specifically; the website services described above may process additional information.
Account access. The app sends your reseller email address and password to our server over HTTPS to authenticate you. It stores a session token in the iPhone Keychain to maintain your session. Your business name may be stored locally for display. Authorized client names, email addresses, plans, and card status are retrieved from HOC so you can select and manage the correct card.
Programming records. Our server retains records associated with your reseller account, including operation and client request identifiers, programming or rewriting actions, the verified NFC link, the reported security mode, a device label, timestamps, and write counts. These records support card management, recent activity, verification, and prevention of duplicate recording when an operation is retried. These data are linked to your account.
Local NFC information. The app reads NFC card information, such as a chip identifier and configuration, for diagnostics and supported card operations. Prepared NFC passwords and acknowledgment values (PWD/PACK) are stored locally in the iPhone Keychain and are not sent to the HOC API by the current app. Local diagnostic readings are not automatically uploaded as programming records. Resetting a physical card does not delete its server history or the associated digital profile.
Face ID and device authentication. Authentication is handled by iOS using Face ID or the device passcode when available. The app receives the authentication result. HOC does not receive or store your facial biometric data or device passcode.
Purpose and sharing. App data are used to authenticate accounts, provide card programming and management features, maintain operational records, and support security and customer assistance. They may be processed by our hosting and other necessary service providers as described above. The current NFC Writer app does not use these data for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps and websites, and does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Retention and deletion requests. Account, session, and programming records are retained as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain security and operational history, and meet applicable obligations. To request access, correction, or deletion of your reseller account and associated app data, contact sales@nfc.hocua.com. We may verify your identity before processing the request and explain any records that must be retained. Signing out removes the app's saved session token; it does not delete server records or locally stored NFC credentials. Do not send passwords, session tokens, or NFC credentials in a support request.
